Winter gas/Summer gas?

Never heard of it. I'm near the Pocono's in PA. Is this a term used by region?

I get about 425-455 on tank of gas (26 Gallon Tank). I have a AirRaid CAI, PowerAid Throttle Body Spacer, Tornado, and a hi-flow cat to combat the Gas Gods.. I Avg about 17mpg in the city and about 19-21mpg on the hwy. Im no grandma on the pedal either. Passing FORDS, CHEVYS, and TOYOTAS take a little more gas but so much worth it..

Best I did was 950+ Kms (can't remember the exact number), but was just shy of 1000kms (620mi). Was all highway, no wind, flat prairie, no trailer, box empty (have tonneau), and it was BORING cuz I was Granny driving.

Normally, because I like to drive more to the 'Fun' side, I get 650+kms (~400mi) highway and about 450kms (~275mi) city......87 octane w/15% Ethanol.

Lol i get 500 km to a tank if im lucky lol thats about 300 miles. People who claim they get more then that either drive like old ladies or go by the DTE computer which lies to you. When i fill up it usually says 600 or more but i rarely see more then 500. That is in a 2006 hemi tho the newer ones are slightly more fuel efficient but not much.

Furthest I've gone is from wawa, ontario to Dryden Ontario which is in the 600-650 km range. That's driving how I drive. A bit fast and to the floor in the passing lanes (anyone who's been on that stretch knows what I mean) this was on winter fuel. Oh yeah thats on the big tank 120 liters. Aside from that trip I've never bothered to keep track. When it needs fuel it gets it.

It is that time of year at last

In the Lower 48 States & Canada

The switch back to Summer Blend Gasoline is about to happen, some of the busiest gas stations may already have it

As of April 15th the Tank Farms, (the places that have the huge gasoline tanks, where the gasoline trucks pick up the gasoline & deliver it to the individual gas stations), could no longer receive Winter Blend gasoline.
The individual gas stations must have Summer Blend gasoline in their under ground tanks by May 1st

Winter Blend gasoline has a lot of BUTANE in it, so that it ignites better in cold weather
Summer Blend uses very little Butane & stores longer in your Jerry cans & it does Not evaporate as fast

We will only have Summer Blend until sometime in September

The downfall to summer blend is that you will see an increase in gas prices

Is it true that the 3.92 gears will result in slightly lower gas mileage?
