Default 2008 Intake

i was wondering if anyone here has put the 2008 intake on a 2002-2007 4.7L, im think about doing that mod with the adapter plate and AIT power wire re-locator from airram, and was wondering about if vacuum line placement would change and also if it needed to be tuned once i install it

I was on here a couple days ago and somebody posted a do it yourself CAI. If I were you, I'd look into that personally. And it was for the 4.7.

I know about the C.A.I, and i plan on putting one on, but im talking about the Intake Manifold itself, the 2008 has 350mm intake runners compared to my 415mm intake runners, the 2008 manifold which makes stronger top end HP and low end TQ, i just think the install would be pretty tricky, because i dont think the AIT is on the manifold anymore, but im not for sure

Air Intake Temperature Sensor, on the 2002 on the 4.7L it's on driver side body on the intake manifold, right behind the Idle Air Control (IAC) and Throttle Position Sensor (TPS)

I just installed a K&N a few weeks ago on my 08 and the sensor is on the intake tube. However, the tube wasn't drilled out because of that reason, not sure if the one your looking at is drilled out though. I can post some pics if you'd like ?

yes please, but your saying it's not on the Intake manifold anymore, so i'll have to relocate it, which if fine, but yes please post some pics, because also i would like too see how i may have to re-route some vacuum lines and other things, and your pics would be a HUGE help

I had sort the same issue when I was looking to buy an intake, but reverse from yours. LOL. I wanted a Volant but they only had them up to 07, skipped 08, then from 09-up. I couldn't get any good info on where the 07 stuff was located as to the 08 so I ended up buying the K&N kit.
