Exclamation Brake light switch issue

I have a 94 ram 3500 that I have a problem where the tailights have running lights but no brake light.

Does anyone now if there is a way to bypass the brake switch to make sure thats the problem?

Just remove the connector and put a jumper wire in place. If the lights work, you've found your problem.

Jump pins 1 and 2, which are the two pins that are the farthest away from the plunger. Regardless, if you screw up and jump pins 5 and 6, you won't hurt anything.

When I jump pins 1 and 2, I'll usually get a small little spark, which seems to be a good indicator that power is flowing and the lights are working, at least on my truck.
