it deffinately adds a sound man, before i put my ported TB on i just had the air cleaner on there and it made a sound that stupid stock airbox would have never made. cant describe what it sounds like besides a howl. and i dont think you get the same noise out of a CAI im not sure but i dont think so lol.

Default Throttle body bolt

I found that the Ram vans have a regular air cleaner and an offset stud. I bought one from a recycling yard and it perfectly centers the stud.

Cool 10x2

I couldnt fit a 14x3 so I went with the 10X2 sounds awsome with the tb mod.

I might be wrong, but it looks like you have a TB spacer too. how thick is it?

on a sidenote, isn't the firewall closer to the TB on 2nd gen, compared to the 3rd Gen. please correct me if i'm wrong. i looked at my engine bay just the other day (the whole air intake assembly removed for some work) and it sure looks deep behind the TB. i would love to go with the Spectre dual snorkel (like on LRTs) so can go old school....

Good eye. Indeed I do have a 1" AirRaid tb spacer. How thick is yours?

Does the TB spacer do anything? A lot of people here have differing opinions about how effective they are. It would be good to hear the opinion about the spacer from someone who has one installed.

TodRod good question. The tb spacer mod or commonly known as the "paper wieght mod" is a pretty contriversial issue among alot of ram owners. I for one love my noticable midrange and high range IMPROVMENT... Thats the key word for me any thing that improves my 5.9's performance nomatter how slightly is a step in the right direction cuz paired up with my ported tb and soon ported intake and my k&n filter, together they make a significant diffrence. Thats just one mans opinion.
