you know... that has so many connotations..... alas, i do not have a TB spacer and never intended to get one. just felt it wasn't worth it since my vehicles never get soooo modded, that a spacer would not make any real change/affect. not knocking someone if it helps em. that's all good. but also, my current ride needs a lot of TLC before i get into full-on modding.

That looks good! I've got a 14x3 set-up on hold at my parts store for my truck. Can I use the S bolt to secure it or is there some modding I have to do to make it fit to the TB?

I didn't have to do any Modding at all to it. Just a tight fit by the wiring harness.
as for power and sound, a little noisier when I put my foot it it but sounds good still. Power, probably some.but nothing really noticeable.

im not trying to lead someone on saying that it adds 10 hp and it sounds like a turbo spooling when you get in the pedal but there is SOME noticable difference. i do enourage everyone do do some sort of air intake weather it be CAI or 14x3 air hat. the stock airbox is so resrictive that the only way to get something out of it is something different.

i think my next step is going to be the TB mod. i have only heard good thing about it. anybody on this thread ever di it? any suggestions on making it easier would be helpful.

Hey I just did the TB mod over the long weekend, unfortunately I can't post pics here anymore, I've reached the limit here. It's a good mod, with your intake/14x3 hat it sounds kind of like a vacumn on steriods. Pretty noticeable throttle response as well. I think bigtallcambell made a good post on how to make it easier to do in the 5.9 mods section

you can do the same tb mod to the 5.2l right? i just put the edelbrock triangle breather on my dodge and the power is still about the same but every morning you crank that truck up it sounds like the engines trying to suck in everything around it!
