Default AC pulley/clutch ?

Will an undercharged or empty ac system make the clutch and or pulley squeak? The clutch looks new with no dirt or build up on it. Just did an engine swap and don't know if the mechanic disconnected the compressor. I put a new belt on and the speak is definantly coming from ac pulley. There is no play in pulley and clutch has resistance when turned by hand.

when mine went out it started like that.
just a little squeak at first,
i didnt fix it until it almost fell off! I was being lazy and it was below 0 out.
my defroster still worked but the clutch flopped like a fish out of water.
if you end up replacing it, price wise the whole compressor versus the clutch was not that different. I was also told replacing the clutch is a pain.

Just get a re-man a/c compressor from Mopar. My clutch is shot but the bearing is good but I wouldn't fix it, IMO.
Keep it Mopar, buy Mopar Parts.

I am completely disgusted every time I think about having to take a distributor cap off of one of these trucks -Screamintrashcan
