Truxx are way to expensive for a spacer in my opinion. I have a Hell Bent Steel 2" and am extremley happy with it. $65 shipped
It actually sits a little higher in the front then the back now with the 2" spacer but you cant tell (like .5" or .75" I think)
I measure from the ground up to the center of the wheel well. Also I bought the truck used but did look at the original purchase sheet and it does have the plow package. So does thaty mean there is no need to level or are there other level kits out there designed for this. U mentioned yours was higher, didx you have the plow package too?

With the plow package your going to have a taller spring thats a little bit stiffer to help carry the extra weight of the plow on the front end.
You could put a leveling spring on your truck that would replace your current springs and level your truck but a spacer will cause you alot of problems (You would probably be over 3" of lift and the geometry of your driveline will be way off)
There is actually no NEED to level your truck unless you dont like the look of its stance now.
I did a leveling kit on mine cause 35's were rubbing on the lower fender after I pushed the wheels out some

Well that's good to know. It actually already looks pretty level. I was just asking cause my wife would rather me do other upgrades to the truck instead of putting a 4in lift on it. So I've been doing some research. Other than diff covers(for looks and to keep cool) do you have other sujggestions as to some good upgrades that won't break the bank?

For 1500s its either or. I didnt know much about 1500s till I joined this forum but most of these guys will swear buy just using the Bilstien 5100 ride height adjustable shock.

For your 2500 I would say an intake and exhaust are good investments, you could always argue that they'll help with full mileage if you have too.
You could also get a little bit bigger of a tire next time they need replaced. Stock tire size is 265/70/17 I believe. You can without a doubt fit 285/70/17. If you could find something around a 305/75/17 or 305/70 they would probably fit without rubbing also. If you have stock wheels you could even go up to 35x12.5 but the wider tire will rub a little bit on your lower control arms at full turn.
Take a look around the forum, theres plenty of different mods guys are doing that may suit your taste better then mine too!

I'd like to get the Hell Bent Steel kit, but their not available in Canada. With the shipping, duty and brokerage fees it's probably about the same price as Truxx.

Yup missed that part too. I' just going off of what I can find online but there shouldnt be any duty on it since there made in the USA (wooo NAFTA) I know its $40 dollar flat rate shipping from hell bent steel to canada, not sure but I think taxes, conversion and brokerage would be about $15.
Still cheaper then Truxx website price of $227
