you have to remember you are using a smaller engine to push close to the same amount of weight. If I understand it correctly.

Yea i got about 16, but I mostly did highway driving. (Louisiana)

Now im in Washington (trailered the truck on the move) with hilly roads that have already claimed my radiator.... i dont even want to know what the hills are doing to my millage haha.

It's what Nate said though, truck was prolly designed for the V8, but they put the V6 in there as another option.

Default water drip

I have a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500. We have noticed some water drips on the passenger side floor board. Could this be the heater core leaking? It leaks when you use the air condition. And how big a job it is to change it out if it is the heater core? Thanks.

I'm averaging about 16 now, much better after tune up/air filter/throttle body cleaning and that's mixed driving but primarily highway. Tough for me to judge my city mpg's since I really don't do much stop and go driving but with regular maintenance, I have no problem with my 3.7L. Even get to beat a HEMI once in a while.

My 2011 Ram 3.7 gets 14 at best in town, and 18 on the intestate, but I also have a fiberglass bed cover which weighs 200 lbs. As I practice good economy techniques, seems a bit low, but guess I fall within the average.
