Default Seafoam First Time

So i'm planning on seafoamin the Ram for the first time...never done it before and it seems really easy but i'm not sure what hose to hook it up too...? Sounds like half thru the brake boost hose and half in the tank...let sit and then let her rip...anyone have a pic of which hose that would be on a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500? Thanks

Should i dump the stuff into the oil? I've heard that's good but that you need to change the oil shortly after...

i like the seafoam it works and if you want to put some in the intake there is a port on drivers side of intake below throttle body take off cap and hook up hose it will draw it in there dont over do it to much of a good thing can be bad but it does work

just take the hose off your brake booster thats on the check valve and while its running keep pouring a little big at a time dont just dump half in all at once youll deffinately kill it. after thats said and done put the rest in atleast a half a tank or more and let errrrrr rip.

Make sure you get a funnel. And pour real slow. You'll kill it at least once. I need to run some through mine, I haven't in a while.

I gotta tell ya guys, Seafoam is the beez kneez. I just ran some through my truck using the break booster vaccum line and then soaking the TB and squirting the stuff deep into the manifold, smoked like an SOB but it made all the difference and cured my idle problems (atleast for now). I highly recommend it.

Thats good man glad to hear theres another beleiver. now guys theres another thing for transmissions called Trans-X in a blue and black bottle with the picture of a transmission on it but it looks and smells just like sea foam. I used it in my transmission and great results i recommend it if you either have a high mileage or symptoms of wear and tear on urs. within the first 15 mins i poured it in i noticed that it had tighter shifts and the rpms didnt jump as much when u take off from a dead stop. overall great product. i recommend u try it if u ever need too.

you pour it in even if the tranny fluid is full, or half no matter what the level is.

yup it turns the oil really thin mixes right in with the oil so you can run it for 5 miles n change it or 100 n change it probably depending on how bad of buildup the engine has in it.
