I just ran some seafoam through my truck about 10 minutes ago. I poured half the can in the brake booster and the other half into the tank. Just like the directions I poured it in slowly through the vacuum line with the engine idling. Then let it sit for ten minutes. When I started it back up it started smoking like crazy, then I backed out on the road and it stalled. Once restarted it was smoking like crazy for the first 400ft then there was nothing at all. There is no noticeable difference in performance either.

did you pour it into the brake booster or into the intake with the brake booster line?

I should have been more specific. I put it through the vacuum line into the intake.

Hello there, I have my own auto shop in Albuquerque and that is what we use in our fuel system clean. If you put half in the gas and choose any vacuum line that is After the throttle body, and try to limit how fast it sucks up the seafoam, the slower the better. once you have sucked up the fluid shut off the truck for 2 mins and then go romp on it around the block and watch the smoke billow. let me know if you have any questions

Another believer, I read this thread some time ago, then watched the slew of videos on this and other Sea Foam products. So far, I've tried the Bugs B Gone, and it works fantastic. Used it on my aluminum wheels and it cut right through the brake dust. Removes the Florida Love Bugs with ease. Its awesome, but check your wax afterwards.

I've only just now tried the Sea Foam in the intake/oil/fuel tank to fit in with my regularly scheduled oil change. I experienced a moderate amount of the white smoke compared to some of the "youtube" videos. I expected more with 108k miles. The best part is how much better my truck revs and accelerates. It even sounds better in the cab when rev'ing. All I can say is try it...for ~$10.00 how can you go wrong.
