Default Rim and Tire Combo..?

I have a 2010 dodge ram 1500 slt cc with a 2.5" leveling kit. I am looking at getting 20x9 black SRT rims with 275/60/R20 cooper zeon ltz tires.. Any suggestions or opinions would be great thanks..

First comment is you won't have any real fitment problems with this set up.

Second comment is that I've heard good things about that tire and it should make for a good look.

Third comment is that is a cool combo!

My last comment is your tire width is right but you might be able to go to just a bit taller tire, maybe a 65 or 70 series.

I agree. Those wheels and tires should look awesome on your truck and the Zeons are awesome. Everyone is buying them and they get excellent reviews.

Just FYI best deal I found was discount tire direct's ebay store ($752 w/free shipping in that size) and the cheapest place I found locally for install was the Dodge dealership believe it or not ($10/tire)!!

You could certainly go with a slightly bigger tire if you wanted to but I think your truck willl look fine if you stick with the stock size. I stuck with the stock size because the next options are 275/65 or 305/55 and they are easily $100 more per tire. I've seen lot's of pics of trucks with the stock size and leveled and I think it looks good. I just haven't leveled mine cuz I like that nose down look. Pics when ya get em!!

The only concern I'd have with a wider tire (295, 305, 325, etc) is that if the wheels have the stock offset, you'd rub. 285's will work just fine and look really good.

On my truck now i have the stock 265/70R17 (roughly 31") so if i go with 275/60R20 (33") it would definetly be nicer then my stock size. I would like to go bigger like 275/65 but i dont have the extra money. So hopfully the 33" cooper zeons will look good with the black 20" SRT rims.

What offset should i be looking for?

I agree that 285s seem to be a perfect width for the 9" rims but the only reasonably priced ones are 285/50 which I think are too low profile for most of our trucks. If you get into 285/60 or 285/65 there is only a handful of tires in those sizes and they are expensive.

I think the stock offset for the 9" 20s is +19mm and the backspacing 5.75". So I guess it really depends on how close to stock you want the wheel to sit.

And yeah, compared to the wheels you have now those rims and some 33" Zeons are going to kick ass.
