I, for one, am enjoying this thread immensely...but then again, I do have somewhat of a warped sense of humor.

There is entertainment value here that you can't buy, and if this thread bothers you, or offends you, you do not have to read or participate in it...if someone tells you otherwise, direct them to me, and I will provide them with the appropriate training.

In the 300+ posts here, I have witnessed every thing for Ford slamming Dodge, to Dodge slamming Ford to Dodge slamming Dodge. I have witnessed like minded people arguing fanatically that they are on the other side of the fence. LOL There have been everything from facts to fiction, qualified statements to comical rebuttal, praising the competition to flogging the family and a lot of well rounded contradiction.

The best part....it has stayed in this thread and not become a cancerous disease on the forum....and if it does venture outside this thread, the members that are monitoring it will take an action that I hope is not necessary.

The debate of the Ford Eco boost vs the Dodge Hemi, although not necessarily comparing apples to apples, is a REAL LIFE scenario that is going to be compared/debated. So, if it's going to be debated anyway, I say, let's do it here.....but lets try to keep it about the truck/engines and not about the people.

We live in a time in history where there are many technological things happening around us daily. Some are great....some not so great. Right now, both the Hemi and the Eco boost are great....although the Hemi has seen the lime light a bit longer.

I really....really....really like my Hemi; but am not blinded to the fact the Eco boost is a very interesting OEM technology that moved from the engineers table to the public market...and it IS performing well. I hope for Ford's sake that this new engine continues to impress people for many years to come, and also hope Dodge sees it for the competition it is, and brings the answer to that competition to our showrooms.

Actually, I agree Brad. My sense of humor is warped too (and very sarcastic at times) but may not have come across that way in my posts. However, I do not support the name calling some have resorted to. People can be civil and still get their point across (no need to lower a viable discussion to playground bullying).

Like a 6.4L V8 Hemi tuned for truck application and a ZF 8 speeds transmission to help fuel economy!

First of all, I have nothing for you and your smack talk. If we ever met up you'd have to get past my first bet before we can see whos is faster and I doubt you could race while lying face down in sleep mode. Yeah...I drove you about your truck purchases because of what you said...I drive swell don't I, lol! When I saw your "look you dumbass" comment, you had me in stitches...it's still funny, lol! If you guys wanna bury the hatchet, let's do it...but bury the sob. Skip the hearsay and talk your experience that you find with your truck. Not what you hear or see in videos from other people. Go race your truck and tell us how you lost or won with your truck and I will do the same. Lets skip the smack talk and threats and name calling or at least add some laughter to it. But we don't have to kill this thread, if you don't like the thread then don't participate. Go to your Ford forum an file a complaint...just kidding, lol!

Ditto...I aggree, it is pretty impressive work. But as I said all along, to get any more real power they would have to up the boost.
