Default Gonna Order a Ram R/T!!

So, I'm planning to order a black R/T in about a month, and I'm wondering if you guys have suggestions on any mods to get. I was thinking of getting a K&N CAI, and a magnaflow exhaust to make it a lil louder. And a Diablosport Predator tuner. I don't put too much aftermarket stuff on it, cause I want to keep it close to stock. But I do want to get some more horsepower and maybe a lil better gas mileage. So, any thoughts?

Congrats on your decision.....I LOVE mine! I just installed the Mopar CAI last night and it sounds great on WoT. A little crisper on the throttle response but don't notice much on SOTPs power :-)

Things will open up when I get the ARH long tube headers and a cat-back system!

This truck handles fantastic and has nice power. You will be VERY happy!

I had no idea Mopar made an intake for it, I'll have to check that out! I thought about getting headers but people have told me that makes the truck really, really loud. If you ever take it to a drag strip, let me know what your times are. I'm really curious to see how these trucks run the 1/4 mile, and also their 0-60 time.

I went with the Airraid CAI but the Volant CAI seems to get real good reviews. You will love your R/T. Black is the fastest colour btw lol

After looking at the Mopar CAI, I think I might go with it. Not only does it look amazing, it doesn't void factory warranty. But I'm curious as to what the performance gains are with each brand. I know the K&N adds a lil over 15 hp, and I hope the Mopar adds that much too.

Fast is good lol but its been really hot down here in Texas and I'm considering light grey as well. But I think black looks cooler

Just a question for you guys out there, is adding an aftermarket exhaust worth voiding the warranty? I was disappointed with how quite the R/T is when I test drove one, and I wanted to add an exhaust that is just a lil louder. So is the added loudness and performance (if there is any) worth risking the warranty?

Good choice. You'll love that truck. FYI adding an exhaust won't void your warranty. Nor will adding a CAI. Obviously if your check engine light comes on due to a lean condition or something you would be on your own. (been there with a CAI in a GM product)
