Default Vent Visors

I'm looking to put a set of these on my 2011, but can't decide on whether to use the In Channel type or the Outside Mount(Sticks to outside of door above window). Just wondering which ones you guys prefer and why. Pics would be great.

In channel - Clean, smooth, classy
Outside (AKA tape in on) - Not classy, looks kinda cheap, more of a Chevy kind of fit and finish.

Personally, I do not care for vent visors, but I have to admit, I have seen a few of the in channel ones, and they look pretty darn good.

i personally have the stick ons, there is only 1 thing about them that i don't care for, the black strips between the doors, need to be extended to make them look just a bit better
[IMG][/IMG]

most people like the in channel, but, i have to wonder if it would not scratch the top of the glass a bit, like if dirt was on the glass or visor

Yep, In-channel is the way to go. Ordered my AVS crew cab set thru Autozone for around $60. AVS part# is 194109.

BTW, that part# is only for Crew Cab trucks. Not sure if yours is a Crew, but posted the part# anyway.

I prefer the in channel design as I think it's a cleaner look and you don't have to worry about the tape failing.

Yeah, that's a nice clean look. Do you have any problems with the windows opening, closing or getting jammed? Things like any excess rubbing on the glass when the window is opened or closed? Also, thanks to the rest of you guys for your responses.

I bought a set of the avs in channel visors a few weeks ago. they work great, no rubbing that I've seen.

I had In-Channel on my Dakota and they look clean and smooth, My Ram came with stick on and they look like crap, I am going to get the In-Channel vent visors soon. Also with the stick on's they tend to come loose eventually and the glue residue is hard to clean off as well.
