Default 2006 Ram seat belt light

The drivers side seat belt warning light will not go out even after the seat belt is buckled. Any ideas on how to fix? Will it affect anything else such as airbags?

It's probably a bad switch in the buckle if I had to guess.

I would try to turn it off by like you do to get the dinger to shut off. I think the owners manual told you how. If not it's here in the threads somewhere.....

Check the wiring under the seat. Possibly the connector has been dislodged by something placed under the seat, or the wires got damaged/broken by a similar action.
