Default A/R L/T headers on 2500?

I was wondering if anyone has tried installing a set of A/R headers on a 2500 4x4 I have talked to Nick & Anthony from A/R and they were not sure if they would fit or not. They have not tried to install a set on a 2500 or 3500 so if any one could help me out on this it would be appreciated

Last year I was told they didn’t know if they would fit on a 2010 2500 4x4. The concern was more about the alignment with the existing system than an interference fit. I also wanted to go with the ceramic coated headers and was told that if I scratched them and they didn’t fit I would have to eat the cost of the headers. I wasn’t willing to take the risk on the install and have to eat the cost, if they didnt fit. They may have updated info, I would be interested to hear if they fit.

Thanks for the information RamTex I am still hoping to find someone that has tried to install these headers on a 2500. I was Talking to Nick the other day from ARH and hopefully they can get a 2500 in there shop and measure it up to see if they will fit. I see you have a 4x4 did you have any problems with the new cats and y pipe around the transfer case or was it a easy install any information will help.
Thanks
Randy

Thanks for the information ttontis As you can see ARH still can not tell us if they will fit yet I am hoping they will get a 2500 in there shop I'm sure they will be able to sell alot more headers if the 2500 owners knew if they will fit. If I knew it was only an alignment problem from the end of the y pipe i would go ahead with the install. It would be a relitively cheep fix to have a shop bend up a length of pipe to connect from the original pipe to the header y pipe. I also wanted to have the headers ceramic coated but if they will not fit between the heads and the frame it's a lot of money on a may be.

Went back and reviewed the PM sent by the AR rep. They don’t offer coating so I must have got them confused with another header supplier, Dynatech. It was still too much money and time to invest if they didn’t fit. I could not find anyone who said they had headers that would fit a 2010 2500.

Unfortunately we haven't had a 2500 in the shop yet to test them on. If anyone is local to Amityville, NY and has a 2500 to test them on, send me a PM.
