Default custom dual exhaust

interested in making a dual exhaust with an xpipe and side exits. would like it not too loud, and i have access to a medral bender. this is my dd and would prefer SOME increase in mpg not looking for a miricle.

also made this to raise post count as i cant post to buy in classifieds

So you're gonna make this exhaust yourself? What mufflers do you have in mind?

i was thinking dynomax as that is what i ended up with on my stealth and love them. they are cheap and not very well known or as popular (like having stuff most dont) but if they sound like shit then i wont bother. also read alot of ppl using flowmasters and magnaflow but i do not want that raspy noise if i can avoid it

Magnaflow has a deep, mellow tone, full stainless construction and a straight through design. It's what I run, and I love it! Plus they have different sizes to get different sounds

It will help in conjunction with a better intake and easy throttle movements!

i will be getting a drop in k&n filter (or is the cai worth the 350) this wkend as the stock 1 that came with it looks like its 100 yrs old n dirty. right now i am getting 17.5 to 17.8 mpg and every1 i know b**s at me to speed up lol was also reading that 3inch exhaust on an N/A motor is only good for 400ish bhp (flywheel hp) which our motors are rated at nearly that so going dual twin 2.5 inch is roughly good for 500 which sounds much better to me. as i know it will eventually end up like my car and be modded beyound going back.

well update to this ......... i went to my friends shop today and started screwing around with some stainless and end up making a 3 inch custom made bent CAI looks amazing with near perfect tig welds. i will post pics soon as i find the cord for my camera. also decided against the dual exhaust as it is going to cost me 500+ in materials and found an alumized steel diesel exhaust that will be modified to my needs after talking with my brother (works at a local chysler dealer) says that the diesel uses the same bends and for most part frame and space is the same. also to add to this the 3-3.5inch piping on an N/A motor is good for 250 to 350 bhp anything 400+ should go to 4 inch. so after reading this from multiple tuning sources i have (have only ever done turbo cars this is my first n/a being modified) say the 4'' is the best exhaust for what i am after and these pipe can be had for cheap all over.

can flame me if you wish i am always open to opions good or bad.
