Default Off roading Long Island

Any members know about the trails that start from the split between old montauk hwy and new montauk hwy (north side driving east) to country rd. 95 as seen from google earth. I heard it's got some tough terrain(steep climbs and drops ect..) and great veiws of the Long Island sound and all uninhabited. Heard it was old World war 2 roads that were deserted after the war making it a tough trail to drive thru. Would love to tackle it but not by my self.

Default Montauk off road

It's part of the N.Y.S 4x4 permit. So it's legal, if your interested I'll do it too in May. See if we can get others also. I've done it before, it's a great challenge with great views.

Im also from long island and came across your post. I was trying to find the trail that you mentioned on google map and had no luck. Would you be able to show me with a link that zooms in on the trail? This is the first i heard of this.
