All I really know is that this is the best system in any vehicle I've owned.
I'm more than happy with it.
As others have said, you have to play with the settings. Also the music source makes a big difference. The best sound I've gotten is from playing some of my favourite concert DVDs.The sound is encoded in 5.1 surround so the rear speakers in the ceiling and the sub do what they're supposed to do. Of course you have to turn off the video before you can put the truck in motion, but you can still listen.

I'm happy with it. It's a mass-produced truck, so I think they did well for what it was intended to do.

adding 5-6 oz of poly fil in the sub enclosure will improve bass
