I test drove a 2011 Ram 1500 for the weekend and was able to pair my iPhone 4 with the Bluetooth with no problems. Worked great for me.

I was able to pair my new Iphone 4 with no problems. But since that initial setup the phone won't link up with the head unit, even when I go into discover mode. Never had any problems with my 3GS.

Have you played music through your iphone?
I had no problems pairing to make phone calls, but the music feature sucked....

I had no issues setting up my bluetooth with my nokia phone, but just like you guys playing music thru bluetooth sucks... static and it skips really bad. Glad to know that it is not just me.

I have an Evo 4g and it doesn't want to play music through the Uconnect. Is there a trick to setting it up?

I also have the EVO 4G, and while it worked pretty well with my F150 and SYNC, I can only get it to play music in fast forward with UCONNECT.

HTC is known for having a poor bluetooth stack. I loaded CyanogenMod 7 because it uses a different stack, and got the same results.

The EVO is also known for having issues with wifi and bluetooth together. Every time I'd back out of my driveway in my F150, and lose the wifi connection, the bluetooth would cut out.

Like I said the EVO is well known for its bluetooth issues.

I hate that my HTC EVO and Uconnect have issues. The biggest problem is that the EVO takes about 10 min to fully connect and work like it is supposed to. If I turn bluetooth off and then on it works right away. If I do not then the Uconnect button will not work right away (hence the 10 min wait) and if I dial from the phone then it hangs up the call right after the person I call picks up.

It's frustrating but I've learned to live with it.

The thing that really gets me is the fact that anything running the current Apple iOS (anything newer that 4.0) won't work when you plug it into the usb port in the glove box. It won't be recognized by the radio (I have a 430 RBZ model) and won't actually work. I took it into the dealer and they told me this is problem with all new (2011) Chrysler radios. I guess it has to do with Apple updating their SW and not allowing manufacturers access to it. So Chrysler has to wait for Apple to release their code and then we (the paying customers) have to wait for Chrysler to put out a software fix. The best part is that I had to wait 3 weeks before the dealer had that answer for me.... :|

I have tested that the bluetooth of my iPod Tough 4g works great as long as I leave the screen locked. If it is not locked then it plays in fast forwards spurts and sounds like chipmunks have invaded my iPod. The downside of that is I have to choose to pair my iPod or my phone and cannot do both at the same time. I chose to leave my phone paired and copied my iTunes folder directly into the hard drive and play songs from there. It isn't perfect but it is livable until Apple and Chrysler get their acts together.
