Because I was reading and it said cold air intake often causes hydrolock
Dodge isen't going to prevent it. It's a risk inherent to this type of setup. However, given all the mopar setups I've seen, you would need water over the headlights to get hydrolock.

It's a truck, not an amphibious assault vehichle. If you are in water that deep you are doing something wrong.

What would give me the sound of an intake without putting an intake. I'm not really needing performance more just sound. I do have a magnaflow and I am happy with the sound. Wouldn't mind more front sound

You won't get that growl that a CAI will give you but the cost is about $250 less.
I'll be one of those guys to disagree. It may not be a huge difference but definitely noticeable. When i put my Airaid into my ram i noticed certain hills that had that extra bit of power that my truck didn't need to gear down where it used to before. Not to mention a slight fuel economy change. In all honesty though.... i just love the sound.

As far as warranty goes your intake will have no ill effects on your warranty unless your engine gets dusted do to improper installation. BASICALLY if your intake works properly and all air is coming in through a proper filter, you shouldn't have an issue.
