Default 98' Stock Cluster Gage Face

I am looking for a stock cluster gage face plate for a 98' Dodge Ram, automatic, w/ TACH. I can NOT find one anywhere online it seems and any that I do find have the whole cluster hook up. Those also cost around 75$.

Does anyone have any suggestions on where I can get one? I've tried a few of the junk yards around my area but to no avail. The only one I found was from a local scrap yard but they are selling it on eBay w/ the whole hookup for 65-75 bucks.

Just want to experiment with one before I attempt to pull my own apart and try it. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

***Here is the picture of the style of cluster

I think you might have to fork over for the $75. Only other place would be to try LMC truck but then you're paying for a new one.

It's worth seeing if it's any cheaper I guess.

I'll give that scrap yard a call tomorrow and see if they would part that out and just sell me the face plate.

I'd like to see what it takes to get the red off of the gauges. I'm going to be doing an all red cluster so I was wondering if I could do that and put a orange wax paper over the old red spots to give it a different color.

Also I wanted to look at the other gauges to see what it takes to get the color off and what I could do with it.

Basically I want to be able to tinker with it w/o having to take my own off and ruin it, or have it disassembled for a long period of time.

Gotcha, you might also look at Durangos and Dakotas, as I believe the share the same cluster.

Didn't realize that. I will look into that and hopefully find something!

Thanks!

Well I found a stock style face replacement that is white! I'm 95% positive if I put any colored bulbs behind it then that will be the main color of the cluster.

I AM SOOOOO F***ING PUMPED!

I'm sending you a message WERM with the info. I don't know if it will work yet since it's for a Dakota/Durango but I'm fairly positive it's compatible for the Ram. Once and IF it works I'll post up.

I'm going to order the lights tonight and should have it installed by this next weekend depending on how fast I get the gauge.
