Default Navigation rebooting continuously

Hello all,
I have an unusual problem. My 2010 Ram Laramie 1500 has the European GPS navigation multimedia HDD radio system. This works perfectly well. But whenever I go to a certain region, that is the Alsace region in France, between the cities of Mulhouse and Strasbourg, the damn system keeps rebooting every minute or so. In fact, it becomes unusable as a GPS, but also as a radio.

As soon as I get north or south of this geographical region, the system works fine again. This has happened to me twice in the same spot and on two separate occasions. Elsewhere and in any other moment there are absolutely positively no problems with the system.

Can someone suggest what the problem might be? I am figuring some interference from an outside source that might be active in that region (and which I do not know, but can only imagine), such as a powerful airport radar, or some older tv or radio transmitting tower, or something at the local nuclear power plant facility... Who knows??

Any ideas are welcome. Also any fixes are!

I'm also thinking its some sort of interference issue since it seems to be a localized problem.

I agree that you may have either an interference problem or are losing contact with satellite line of sight. Is this a hilly/mountain filled region? I lose contact from time to time going through mountain passes here.
