In my opinion, not by a long shot! unless you are ok with spending that amount of cash for a "sound" and maybe a bit more acceleration/power

I got mine for $321.00 including the $89.00 PowerCore + free shipping so yeah, I'm fine with the price. I do like the extra power (I can tell the difference). I would have preferred a better fit as I really do not like my hoses touching the airbox.

Are you not concerned that your breather hose appears kinked where it bends up to attach to the hump tube?
I wonder if you got one with a bad cut from the factory? If you cut it, the entire box inlet will probably end up an inch away from the fender air vent. Mine seems to be fine though it sits just a tad high.

Yeah, I've been watching that hose and have made a few adjustments since that pic.

Default Yeah... no... fitment is a problem on my 2010 as well..

Yeah... no... fitment is a problem on my 2010 as well...

I went to pep boys and picked up some weatherstriping with sticky tape on the back side, but the sticky tape is defective as well and wont stick to anything. The goal, however, was to use the 3/4" weatherstriping to close the gap at the bottom and along the sides.

I still haven't figured out if I want to block the bottom intake and if so, with what.

I will most certainly be calling Volant to at least yell at them if nothing else...

Thanks for the code still works, ( fitment issues with Volant made me chose the Airaid) used it to get my Airaid CAI and Magnaflow 18" muffler free shipping and saved me 71$.

If you are able, please document the install with pictures and post for all to see. I am in the market for a CAI and have not made a decision yet. Being able to see the install and hear the results is incredibly beneficial to folks like me that are still undecided. Oh, and thanks for letting us know the discount code is still good. Always nice to save a few bucks.

Deepblue - Was two beers enough to adequately complete the install?

Sorry deepblue don't mean to highjack your thread "you did a great write up". Razorbass this thread http://www.ramforumz.com/showthread.php?t=82556 posted by LeKy411 did a nice write up on the airaid for those looking to compare the two.
