This thread has done a lot better than I thought it would. I figured it would go downhill fast. LOL

My friend with a local plumbing business said that he can set me up with a Sloan waterless unit and piping for the drain for under $400.

This might be a Fathers Day gift for me.

That is a lot of money to pee in a garage. My garage is detached from my house. I can put 6 crew cabs in it. Way in the back, in the corner, in the dark, all by itself, I have a plastic 5 gallon bucket on the floor. I have never had any complaints from any one needing to go pee in it rather than run to the house, and that includes my sister in law.

If you have a floor drain, you can run pvc to it since it would be a temporary fixture till you sell the house if you ever do? Or you can hard plumb it into the existing plumbing and make it a permanent staple... Ive dont the temporary setup before.

LOL, we had that in Korea, built into the backside of the Aircraft hangar we were working in for Avoinics. during exercises, we couldn't leave the hangar unless we were in chem gear and used the port-a-let. which is PITA. soooo, they put in the funnel dealio. way ghetto, but worked. sucked for the gal working with us, but that's what ya gotta do.
