My buddy Brad (MGRAM) and I ran up against a friend of his with a new 6.2 Silverado Quad 4x4 at the track Friday
He was fairly stock but had an advantage on us with lighter 17's and better gearing (3.73's)
He lost, badly, and whined that it was because he didn't have a Tuner ....yet he refused to try one of ours ( We had 4
We tried to explain to him that the 5.7L Hemi has more HP per cubic inch and that's why his 6.2L was getting spanked, all night long.
Our Ram's were both on 20's and have 3.55's with minor intake/exhaust mods. (K&N,Magnaflow)
My lowered 10' RCSB 4x4 is car# 1000, Brad's 10' QC 4x4 is #1013 on the time slips posted below
I left my DR's at home and tried to see how my Heavy 305/50R20 Grappler's would do (8 lbs heavier than stock GoodforaYears)
We were trying out 3 different tuners, so that's why there's BD, SC and DST written on the slips
(Bully Dog, SuperChips, Diablo Sport Trinity) loading, unloading, returning to stock, uploading took a LOT of our time...PITA!
but it did give the trucks time to cool off between runs. Pretty fun night overall.
Here's a few of the slips with our results so far...
Very impressed with the Diablo Trinity so far,
I'm used to seeing a 5 tenths improvement when swapping on my DR's (with a 91 octane BD tune)
So I cant wait for this Friday to mount up my little Track tires and a Diablo 93 Tune. I'll be looking for a very low 14 , possibly a 13.xxx slip
DA for the evening ranged from 2200' - 2600'
