Default Dynomax Ultra Flo X 2.5in.

I just had this muffler put on my 2011 Ram 1500 5.7 today. Sounds great not to loud and has a good rumble. I had the shop cut out the Y-pipe at the front. Also cut just behind the stock muffler. The dynomax actually hooked right into the factory duals in the rear. The shop then ran the 2.5in duals from the front to the muffler and that was it. Not a bad job at all. Not sure how to post sound clips on here but if anyone is interested Im sure I can figure it out.

Welcome to the forum! Take a moment and post up an intro thread in the Newbie Section.

The Newbie How To section has an How To on posting up pics and vids.

I put this in the Modification section under Exhaust. More people will see it there.

Again, welcome!

Did you retain the OEM resonators near the tips? Also any loss of low end torque since you removed the Y-pipe?

I left the OEM resonators on. If there was a loss I cant notice it. With the muffler having the X-pipe on the inside I think it helped in retaining the torque.

That's awesome! The DynoMax Ultra Flo and Borla Pro XS are two of the best options for our trucks. Specifically by eliminating that restrictive Y-pipe and maintaining the straight through flow with the internal X-pipe design. Great choice!
