Default Oil Pan Gasket--Tough to Change??

How difficult is it to change the gasket on my oil pan? I have a small leak from the front of the motor, and the guy I bought the truck from told me when I bought it that it has a small leak in the oil pan gasket and even gave me the gasket to replace the old one with. I believe he said you have to undo the motor mounts, remove the distributor and prop the motor up to get the pan off. Is it really that involved??

Oil pan gasket is easy to change however, I’d clean the undercarriage and re-inspect where the leak is coming from before replacing the pan gasket. Could be leak-down from another source.

I'm only assuming its the pan gasket...the guy I bought the truck from rebuilt the engine and told me thats where it was coming from. I looked under the front of the truck today and it was definately coming from the lower front part of the motor. I will degrease it though and check just to be positive.
