Well mine was done today!!!!! ---Never did get any letter, But-- The service dept. called on Wednesday of last week to schedule an appointment for" Monday A.M. for a recall." Funny thing is that he could'nt tell me what the recall was for, until I picked up the Truck a couple of hours later.
At any rate still a happy camper, ---just love this truck!!

nice, I haven't receive the letter yet and my local dealer still don't have the necessary parts. Has been a month and 10 days after they start this recall. Just a waiting game.......

Whats weird is that my 2011 Sport 4x4 was built in Jan 2011 but has the old style cover with no hole in it. I also didn't see any plugs on the driveline side of the diffential either. I checked the fluid in the transfer case and was going to check both of the differentials but couldn't find any drain/fill plugs on either of the differentials. The truck is in the shop right now getting a new lower control arm on the passenger side due to a "clunk" under the floor pan. Guess I'll check when I get it back. Truck only has 500mi on it.

Use the link bellow and enter your VIN number on recalls box on the left side to find out if your truck is on the recall list.

I just got my letter in the mail yesterday, but thanks to the forum and checking my VIN on dodge.com I have been on the waiting list for the part for just over 3 weeks now.

Default K36 service

Just a heads up (from a forumz newbie), but I had difficulty in getting my closest service department to get me scheduled for this recall work.
After 3 weeks of waiting and a few update calls, I decided to check with dealerships further out, and lo and behold, within 24 hours, I was in a bay and the service was complete.
Funny part? The dealership down the street still says the parts are not available.

Might be different now that the mailings have gone out, but still would be worth checking around if you have been waiting for more than a week or two.

Edit: There is also an internal part they install at the bottom of the differential as well as the replacement cover. Anyone know if that is supposed to be some kind of baffle, or...?
