Default Dam, My New Truck!!

Just, bought my truck on thursday. Dealer never mentioned a recall, service and parts are closed till monday. This sux took the new truck high right out me, only have 84 miles on it. Feel better next week after Line-x and tube step install.

Great, need to travel this weekend. Hope the rear don't seize with my family in the truck. I'm starting to think this truck was a very expensive mistake. Sure, dodge will take care of the rusty bumpers, the rear end problem, the erratic idle, and the crappy leather seats, but what about the lost time I incurred at the dealership. 4200 miles, and I know every service tech by their name. Thanks for the news RAMTX I appreciate it. Sorry for ramblin, just dont want to go to the dealer again.

I agree with you a 100%, I don't like to go to the dealer either. I have a erratic idle every time I stop my truck, the RPMs goes up and down, the dealer don't know yet how to fix it because is not trowing any codes . I still like my truck and it is expensive but I will try to keep a positive attitude towards this situation. Thanks for your response.

Yea, I like the truck too. Most comfortable, luxurious pick up Ive ever owned. I just wish the dealers didn't treat some of us like were idiots. "Polish your chrome" or "the idle is fine" are not the correct answers to legitimate complaints. I said bye bye to the bow-tie because of the crap service Ive gotten over the twenty or so years Ive owned a Chevy. I was hoping to have sort of a honeymoon period with Dodge. I guess we need counseling. But yea, I really like the truck and I too am gonna try to be positive. Its a positive thing that Dodge stepped up to the plate and issued a recall instead of sweeping the issue under the rug.

I was very frustrated when they told me that my idle cannot be fixed because wasn't trowing any codes, wrong answer, you are right we are not stupid. Don't remainder me about chevy lol, I owned 5 silverados and had nothing but trouble. I think we are on the right track with dodge and this is the most luxurious truck Ive own too, lets just have some patience, but I am getting old for this.
