Default Are you running Hankook Dynapro ATM tires

My local tire dealer recommended the Hankook Dynapro ATM tires in 275/60/20 for my new Ram Crew 4x4. I like the look of the sidewall, but, can't get it in a wider tire than a 275. The price is great though and will give me $400 for my new Goodyear takeoffs. Not great, not bad though either. Is anyone running them? Got pics?

They are a good tire and if hes giving you a good price then go ahead. Everyone is partial to their own brand though, I run Coopers on my truck, others run Toyo's other Nittos, and BFG's its all what you like.

I had them on my Dakota. I loved the tires, they were so quiet and had great road manners. Very capable on the trails and the sand dunes as well. You will be happy with that choice if that's the direction you want to go.

thanks for the response. If anyone has put on 275/60/20s with a "truck tread" or a more aggressive sidewall, I'd love to see pics. I'm also planning to give it a lift with Bilstein 5100s and would probably go with the 2.1 inch lift to get it mostly level. Trying to make this 4x4 look more like a 4x4!

Pay2Play, I just ordered a set of 275/60/20 for my 2010 Ram Crew cab, they just came by UPS yesterday. I love the look of them, as when then arrived was the first time ive seen them in person. I cant wait for it to get alittle warmer out here in Michigan so I can put them on. Im hoping to have pictures soon to post. I read alot of reviews and my local tire guy recommended these. I ended up buying them on Ebay from Discount Tire Direct. Payed $722.00 with free shipping, couldnt turn down that deal.

Today, I looked at the ATm rf10s and was amazed at how tough they looked. I have heard nothing but good things about these tires. I may get some in this size... 275/65/20.

Now that my truck is in, 100 miles on it, I pulled the trigger today and bought the Hankooks. They really do have a great side tread and I appreciate the positive input. With your advice and my tire dealers recommendation, I'm comfortable with the Korean tire. I also ordered Bilstein 5100s to level it up. When it is all on, in a week or two, I'll post the pics.

Sound like you've made some good choices there. I know you are going to love the bilsteins, not just for the level truck but for the much improved ride and handling

Don't second guess your decision.. They are a great tire on street, in mud & dirt, and especially in snow! Chewed through the 20" of snow we were blessed with in early Feb with no issues (in fact, my coworkers were really impressed). I'm partial to the "more sidewall" look on a 4 wheel drive, so I went with 18's, but the tire will look the same.
Here's my wheel/tire thread: http://www.ramforumz.com/showthread....ankook+dynapro

As for the 5100's... have them too! Good choice by the way. I went the 1.4" setting, but I could have went the 2" setting and still been okay for towing the boat (275lb tongue weight). If you plan to tow, you might consider either beefing up the rear a bit or only going the 2" setting instead of the the 2.8".

Good luck, can't wait to see the pics...
