Default What's that rattle?

Rattle just started and can't figure it out. Sounded so much like a door ajar that I stopped and slammed all 4 shut hard. Checked all the seating and fasteners, nothing in the bed, nothing carried inside the cabin. Not the higher pitched 'clank' sound a seat belt buckle makes, more of a dull low pitch. Tire change equipment is all securely stowed, nothing feels loose either inside or out. Gas cap is on securely and tailgate slammed shut. From what little I can see underneath the truck and inside the engine compartment nothing appears to be loose. There are no warning lights showing. No rattle sitting still, only when actually moving. Does not appear to be associated with road surface,...smooth concrete or pot holed, it's all the same. No noticeable differences in performance, drivability or handling. 10 mile trip right before the rattle, and then immediately noticeable upon the return trip. Windows up and A/C on both times. A frequently taken routine trip,..no accidents, curb hits, pot holes, animals, nor route changes. Interval weather conditions/temps did not differ between 1st and only stop and return trip. What could I have missed? Any suggestions appreciated. Those experienced in performing exorcisms a plus.

Out of no where? Just boom! Rattling. That's a Mopar for you. Have you checked under all the seats with a flashlight? I absolutely knew one of ours needed tie rod ends - I knew it because of a similar rattle. Happened to look under the seat to see a small jar of pizza sauce that had rolled out of the grocery bag and gotten under the seat and was rolling and rattling going right. Maybe something easy.

You've probably checked this already but the receiver hitch on my truck drove me nuts so I took it out. No more problem.

Default rattle gone

Thanks guys, I did re-check everything inside again, as well as attempt shaking the tailpipe and checking the battery mounting. While I still didn't wrong and, for whatever reason, the rattle disappeared just as quickly as it came about.
