This would be oh so nice to have. When someone cracks the code let the rest of us in on the secret.

What I don't understand is they have this nice feature on vehicles that are so much cheaper that what we paid for our rides.

When I bought my Ram it was light years ahead of my Chevy. Remote start was getting one of the kids to start the truck when they went out the door. GPS was a Trip Tik from AAA with the wife as co-pilot reading when to turn next. Seat heaters were the wife sitting the seats before you sat on them. The list goes on!

Update fellas, supposedly ther eis a "Star Module" that needs to be installed for the system to recognise what to do when you push in the FOB. I'm waiting on one more person to answer up on the Jeep forum that has a inside track with the engineers to will see, hang in there.

I know on the Jeeps you can remove the button and put in your FOB and turn to start the vehicle so I wish I was home to look under both vehicle hoods at the relay box's to see which module is missing on the RAM then would have a good idea.

Default Red Button

Well, they initially told us the brake controller retro-fit was unavailable, then it showed up. Maybe this will come around too.

Hey! How does ACC work with a push button start? As far as I can see the push button does the on and off thing.....only.

The acc would have to come on automatically within a close proximity of the key fob. Doesn't the ACC come on in the Charger with an initial push of the button and a second one accompinied by the brake pedal starts it?
