You need the passive entry module and wiring to work, the wiring structures are too different between the Grand cherokee and the ram, if you had nothing but time you may be able to get it to work, plus you would need new door handles etc as they have operation buttons on them.

I was getting excited until the whole new door handle thing came up. Looks like it won't work unless it's one of the 2013 changes.

Any for those who were asking the acc will go on when you hit the button, you have to put your foot on the brake and hit the button for the engine to start. At least that's how Nissan does it.

Every Kia has it, would be standardized and cheaper for them to just put the push button on all. I was talking to someone from an aftermarket company that was working on it but I havent heard from him in a while.
