Default What width tire can I fit for an 08 with a 17x9 0mm offset?

Hey guys, I didnt see a sticky or any FAQ's pertaining to tire widths.

With temps steadily above 55F now, I need to get my winter tires and OEM wheels off. I've been offered a set of 295/70/17 Toyo MT's for 400 bucks with half thread left. I'd eventually like to fit 33x12.50x17 general grabbers after the Toyos wear out.

I know that you need a -12mm or so offset wheel to fit a 12.50 width on an 06-08 but I haven't found ANY wheels at all I like in a -12mm offset.

All the wheels I've liked (Method MR301's, XD Enduros, ATX Mojaves) are all either -6mm offset or 0mm offset. Also, I'm only looking at 17 inch wheels because I'm not going to be paying 200 + for an 18 inch wheel. Also the 18 inch tires are crazy expensive compared to 17's. I really dig the more tire/less wheel look.

So what can I fit with wheel that has 0mm to -6mm offset? Can I still fit 12.50 widths with them too? I don't want rubbing and would like to avoid spacers.

Much thanks!

I had a hard time finding a 17"x9" wheel locally for my track tires (295/45T17 Drag Radials) and found the Moto Metal 951's with -12 offset...
...you should be able to find them for around $150 ea

I got the Black but they come in Chrome too...

If I ever get bored with the track, I'll lift my 4x4 (currently lowered) and put some 35's on...

My buddy has those moto metals on his lifted truck. I did consider them but didn't want to get them because he got them first.

I'm going to be pulling the trigger on 1 of the 3 (Enduros, Mojaves or methods) next week when I get my paycheck.
