I didn't get that kind of mileage in town with my 4 cyl S-10. I would love to be getting that in my Ram. I wouldn't change a thing.

I had a 05 Dakota 4.7, didn't see anything on the truck or owners manual about it being flex fuel, I thought the revamped 4.7s,,08 and up are Flex.

You must be calculating your gas mileage incorrectly...my s10 with a 4 cylinder and manual trans also didn't even come close to that, it got about 22city 24 hwy, maybe 26 hwy if I were travelling all hwy for a trip or something. My 2010 4.7L gets about 17city, 20 hwy, yours technically should get worse as it is a slightly less powerful engine. My dad's 05 4.7L (same truck as yours it sounds like) gets 17 all day long no matter what he hauls, tows, or doesn't for that matter... My truck is E85 compatible, but like RamTech said, I'll never put it in, it's bad enough gas at the pump already has 10% ethanol....it's bad stuff, and alot of stations actually are running more than 10%, and they are talking about upping it higher....end rant....the fuel savings will also not pay off unless you figure out a way to adjust your a/f ratio (with ethanol I think you want around 9.5:1 or so, vs gasoline at 14.7:1 or so).
