Aside from what I already listed I would LIKE to get a set of tow mirrors and tow hooks for the front because Dodge decided that tow hooks just shouldn't come stock on a truck I found some mopar tow hooks on ebay for around 140. So those aren't too bad and I found some OEM replacement tow mirrors for around the same price. I'm a bit iffy on them since they arent Mopar I dont know how clean the fit will be, if they will rattle at highway speeds and if they are going to be plug and play since the ones from Mopar are a cool 350$

What I realized that I am not happy with no is my shock selection. The Pro Comps dont have a long enough extension so when I go over things like speed bumps, if i dont take them pretty lightly I can hear the shock hitting its max extending point. And I dont like that at all. I was thinking some Fabtechs? Any suggestions. I'm trying to not spend 500$ on some shocks you know? But still want a decent shock for a lifted truck

Did you get extended shocks or are they stock length?

they're extended shocks. But i think that they were the shorter of the two options so I dont really get the extension I would like to have and kinda need. any advice on some affordable quality shocks?

Also just found out that the Mopar tow hooks will no longer mount up due to the body lift...Any body with any advice or tips or ideas on how to fabricate a place to mount some tow hooks please let me know.

Getting the front shocks replaced monday as well as the nerft bars being mounted flush to the body so they arent hanging to low looking all awkward and such. Been pricing around to see who has the best deals to install gears and so far 4wheel parts has the cheapest at 400$ which still blows my mind. Also got those tow mirrors I wanted ordered up. =) Gears will be coming in the next week since I'm moving I dont want any confusion as to where they are going to be delivered. So on monday you'll have some pics of the new shocks and the new look of the steps

Steps were done today, shocks wont be in until tomorrow so I'll have pics up of those in a little bit and we decided to stay with the ES9000 Pro Comps, but just go with the longest possible application so the little issue of over extending should be over with tomorrow. You guys were right though, the truck looks MUCH better with the steps sitting flush to the body instead of hanging down like they were

nice mods so far man. really glad you are doing something different than the standard nitto mud grapplers and trying new stuff. and i put those same sylvanias in my headlights and man do they help, but you knew that already. anyways really would like to know what gear ratio's you're planning on as im planning on this maybe later in the year myself when i get new tires/wheels. so.. yea keep the mods rolling because that truck is looking mean

So far honestly I love the Federal Couragias. I took her off roading over the weekend (sorry no pics my phone died, my fault) and they performed really well and on the road they are fairly quiet. The sylvanias are pretty good too, I mean they aren't HID's but for what you pay to replace your stock bulbs they're a nice step up. Right now I have the 3.92 gear ratio stock from Dodge. I mean they aren't fantastic but they are getting the job done for the mean time. I'm in a tough debate as to whether I should get the gears first or the chip so any input is welcomed on that I'm for sure going to step up to the 4.56 gears though. From talking to a few people the 4.10's will do but the majority of people regret it in the long run. You sacrifice some RPM's on the highway but I think with the SuperChips Cortex that will make up for that in the end. So far what I have left in things I "Need" is gears, exhaust and a chip. Then comes the wants like tow mirrors, some tint on the front windows, and some weathertech floor mats. I'm sure as I go I'll keep coming up with ideas and things to add. New shocks go on tomorrow Thanks for commenting and keeping this thread going. means a lot.
