its pretty much a simple concept that you can run with. find a opening near the front and fab up a scoop. I walked around the duct section of lowes for almost half a hour looking at diff pieces to make it with, and i almost used pvc piping because its easy to lop up.

Man, theres about a 1" gap in between the radiator and the crossmember it bolts to. I would have to fab up a couple of brakets to mount and support it a few inches away to fit a scoop. The problem is the fan shroud coming in contact wit the blades. hmmmmm. I ever did like that bulky thing anyways.

Now that is custom! Throw a little black rhino liner, spray on sound deadener, or even some flat black paint over the ducting and no one will ever even know it is household aluminium ducting. I've got to try this! Thanks for laying the groundwork.

Thanks. Everyone that gets a look under the hood is shocked by how good this mod looks. As for your interior its not to hard to give it some help. I replaced all the interior lighting with leds and a pair of 12 inch red neon tubes up front under the dash. Gives a nice look at night

If your k&n has a box for it then you should be able to do this with minimal effort. As for the neon tubes mine were cigarette lighter plugs originally and I lopped the plugs off and wired in a switch and a fuse to power and then zip tied em underneath the dash. Very simple.
