I am not really willing to fork over the cash for some sweet rims, but I was thinking of getting some more truckish/off roadish tires. I do not drive on the highway much, but I would still want something that was not super loud on the highway. Not concerned about lift, but I do park in a garage at work. I doubt any tires would raise my truck that much to where I would have a clearance problem. I am not planning on lifting my truck either. I already have a hard time getting in. I am short! hehe!
I used to have some BFGoodrich All Terrain KOs on my Dakota. I think that is what they were called. Not quite sure. They were not huge, but gave me a little more grip than stock tires.
Like I said I am going to mount them on the stock 17s that came with the truck.
Thanks for any input you guys give.

I have the stock 17x8 rims on my truck which is a 2002 and i run BF Goodrich all-terrain TA KO in 285/70/17 with no problems at all ( this size will raise your truck a little ). I had these on an older Dakota ( 31x10.50/15 ) and loved them so I put a set on my Ram. They give you great traction and no real noise. They do make them in 265/70/17 as well wich is probably what you have now if you have 17" rims.
