Default Fuel Line Removal

How do I remove the fuel line that is attached to the intake? All the intake bolts have been removed, but something is still holding the intake in. Something in the back. Any ideas what this could be?

Did you get all 4 bolts? There are two in the front, two in the rear.

First, depressurize your fuel system:
1. Remove fuel fill cap.
2. Remove fuel pump relay from your front fuse/relay center.
3. Start and run engine until it stalls.
4. Attempt a restart until it no longer runs.
5. Turn ignition to OFF.

Then undo all electrical connectors to the fuel rail injectors.

Remove the four bolts.

If you have A/C, there are three bolts at the A/C compressor bracket. This is probably what is holding you up.

There is a Quick Disconnect fitting on the fuel rail on the left side.

1. Single tab fitting - Press release tab on fitting. Hold release tab and liftpull tab up with a flat head screwdriver until it separates.

2. Double tab fitting - Squeez plastic retainer tabs. Pull fitting backwards. Fitting will stay on the fuel rail.

After all connections are done, gently rock the left side of the fuel rail as you lift up to unseal the injectors. Repeat for the right side.
