Default Need major help with hyperflash

Okay this is an ongoing problem that I can't seem to fix, I have LEDs all around and street scene dual signal led mirrors. Now I have taken out and looked at every light about 10times and re-soldered all connections and double triple checked the wire colors for the load resistors and all looks perfect. So why do I get a lamp out light and the weird thing is when I get a hyperflash on the right side(which is everyday now, not just once in a while) the mirror signal glows and even stays on after the truck is off for about a minute or two then turns off. I have an 2003 that didn't come with turn signal mirrors but if you have any suggestions or had the same problem feel free to help me out, I'm out of ideas and am starting to wonder if taking it to a shop will be the best option

Just throwing it out there.......
I wonder if the combination of the particular LED fixtures you have, coupled with the resistors you are using, is actually putting to large of a draw on the system, and the computer considers it a malfunction, and not being able to spell it out, shows 'lamp out' in stead.

If I recall correctly, you are using 6 ohm resistors ??
If there are enough lights (LED or not), the parallel resistance could become low enough to exceed the computers parameters and cause issue.....just an idea.
Have tried removing the resistors from the right side to see how it responds? Possibly try a larger value there....like maybe 10ohms. Are the mirrors connected to the front signal lights or rear....I'm guessing front....maybe only remove that resistor/alter that resistors value.

I do have 6ohm load resistors on the front two parking light harnesses, and I tried to do a 6ohm with a 3ohm on both sides so that makes four two on each side. When that didn't work I took off the 3ohm, so now I'm back to just one 6ohm on each side. I never had hyperflash with my LED tails and street scene dual signal mirrors with regular front turn signals until I installed the front LED turn signals. I wonder if I need to put two on the rear and see what happens? On superbrightleds.com the marker light load resistor is 25ohm's and the taillight load resistor is the 6ohm. So what do you think I should do? I still have the 3ohm I could put those on the rear or put the 6ohm on the rear and the 25ohm on the front? what do you suggest? How many ohm's does our truck need to read normal? Maybe that is what I should find out first...????

I don't know how many ohms are required to keep it happy, but I'd go with the 25 on front and 6 on rear as recommended. Remember with resistors, the lower the number, the greater the load (0 ohms = dead short). When you connected the 3 ohm, did you put it 'across' the 6 ohm? If so, this would made the effect resistance about 2 ohms, which I would think is too much load.

Do you happen to have the current draw specs on all the LED fixtures (rated amps) ?

I think I found the problem!

I went through all the wiring diagrams I have for the 03, and found a discrepancy. On an earlier post, I gave you the wire colors, which included putting the resistor between WT/LG and BK on the right rear.

I have 2 other wiring diagrams that show the right rear turn signal as the DG/RD and black. I tend to agree with this, as it only makes sense that Dodge would use similar wire colors on both sides, instead of swapping them from side to side.

I am 99.9% sure that moving the 6 ohm resistor for the right rear from the wt/LG to the DG/RD wire will solve your problem.

BTW - I looked up the lamp numbers, and all circuits test out at 6 ohms.
