Default Pissed aint the half of it!

I took my truck to my dealer for the HVAC recall two weeks ago and just had the weather and opportunity yesterday to wash it the first time since then. As I was washing it I found a scratch about a half-inch wide and 4 inches or so long on the front upper bumper cover that somebody did a half-assed job of touching up (but good enough I didn't notice it until I started washing it!). Some sorry SOB at the dealership did it and then had the gall to try and hide it. I say hide it because it is definitely not a repair - nobody would do a repair that shitty - they just did enough to hide it and get the truck back to me. When I called the service department about it today they flat denied my claim because it "could have happened anywhere" and I can't prove it was done at their dealership. Yada, yada, yada. Right, like someone at Walmart is going to take the time to dob some paint over a scratch they did to me in the parking lot to try and hide it!

I'm not going to mention the dealer right now because this isn't over by a long shot yet so let's just say that you might want to avoid the service department at a downtown Birmingham, AL dealer least some grease monkey (as opposed to a competent honest technician) screw you too.....

By the way, with 4 Dodge dealers within 15 miles do I have to deal with this same bunch of holewipes for my warranty work or can I go to another dealer? Not sure since I'm so close to my purchasing dealer.
