I'm assuming its for a 4.7 since you posted here. I don't know that either is better than the other. They both do essentially the same thing. It does seem like more 5.7 owners lean towards Diablosport and more 4.7 owners lean towards Superchips if that helps any at all.

On my 07 4.7 i got the diablo predator and i like it, plus if you ever plan on wanting to add a cam or any other mods you can get a custom tune with the diablo and you cant with the superchips.

one thing diablo gives you is the option to do some custom tuning. I chose the superchips on my 2010 4.7L because I think you get more power out of it, and I have alot of years with superchips so I was confident it wouldn't harm my truck...

Installed the Superchip Flashpaq today. It was pretty simple, once I got the registration filled out correctly. I left out the info for the bottom part of the form the first time and couldn't load the updates. But I took Fortran in college back in the 70's and they taught us "garbage in, garbage out". So I went back over each step and found what I'd left out and then it loaded in about 15 mins or less. Then it's just plug into your truck and follow the directions on the monitor of the Superchip. Even I could do it.
I have a Z28 Camaro and a Harley, so the acceleration was good, but not what I was expecting compared to those two vehicles. But the Ram weighs a lot more, so I am pleased. I really got the Superchip for better towing of my travel trailer. We have a trip planned on Labor Day, so we'll see if the torque gains on Tow mode are improved then.
If the Superchip, along with the K&N C.A.I. and the Flowmaster Super 40 give me better towing on the hills and mountains of Wyoming, then I won't have to trade for the Hemi and I will be a happy camper. All three of these were less than $1000. A new Hemi is going to be a lot more $$$.
