155,xxx miles here just recently did quite a few mods, hughes fi air gap intake, k&n cai, flowmaster dual exhaust, new ignition parts, such as spark plugs, wires, rotor, cap, and a coil. truck is running like a champ now really has a lot more power in the upper rpm range now but dont push it over 2500 to often, mainly daily driving stay under 2500. Just recently put in royal purple oil, wanted to give it a try. I dont know if the temp guage is having issues or if my truck is really running that cool..when its been running for a bit the highest iv seen the temp guage get to has been just to the right of the 2nd white line in the picture. That seem odd to anyone? Also how did you like those jba headers? Iv really been considering getting some but they are pretttty pricey lol

170 is fine for a ram, means ya motor is running very well, or its not to extreamly hot out! The JBA headers are worth every cent. They can be a pain in the but to install with the bolts ect but well worth your time, I found they sound very good, and I gained alot of low rpm and upper rpm torque and HP...

oh and I meant to ask, how long were they on your truck with no problems like leaks or anything?

JBA's last in till the engine blew.... I think I had 140 k or so on them.. it was a very good investment.. another thing could be your temp guage is not reading right... pick up a hanyes manual and do a voltage test... only other ideas I have, I have an after market Autometer in mine lol

hey guys i havent been on in awhile but i got an update lol
my truck now currently has 267,000 miles on it and man what a doosey when everything starts going bad on it at once.

i got the truck with 255,000 miles on it in january and NOTHING was wrong with it except for having to put it in neutral when you start it lol.
NOTHING leaked, sqeaked, or hissed or anything.

i currently just got done putting 700 bucks in parts into it.
starting with both front hubs, sway bar end links, tranny fluid and filter change, rear axle seal and diff seal, filled er back up with royal purple. the leaking axle seal destroyed the rear left drum and shoes. did a full tune up. plugs wires cap n rotor, still gotta do the valve cover gaskets that are leakin but not bad, both door pins on the driver side are shot so the door clunks when you hit bumps. the driver door window motor fried so i have to tape my window up. tranny fliuid leaks between the transfer case and where the tranny bolt toghether and now the damn steering box is leaking like a sivv and i have a bad upper ball joint thats causing both of the front inner tires to go completely bald because it needs an alignment.
buuuuuut every truck has its problems......

feewwwwww!!!!!!

buuuuut it hasnt put me down i love this truck and i never wanna get rid of it. these are truely great trucks the look and feel of them is awesome!
