Default First disappointment with new Ram.

Well kind of.... we are having a lovely April snow storm up here in frozen Edmonton. The roads are slick as hell and the traction control on this beautiful new Ram will not let me have any fun! This is one of those good thing bad things! Well I got to see how this new beast handles the slippery roads and I have to say I'm impressed, actually really impressed considering the stock tires aren't the greatest for snow and ice. All I can say is that every time I get behind the wheel of this truck it just keeps getting better and better!

I bought my new ram the weekend Vancouver got hit with snow. I was passing people everywhere with no problem getting grip.

Shame on you for the false thread topic. :P

I feel very sad for you guys out west, that much snow would have really pissed me off. Nice to hear how well the Ram is performing.

There's a little button right next to your hazard button to turn your traction control off.... lol ;-P

Tried that she just won't hang sideways for a full block! Oh well I'll just have to drive the wifes truck when I'm feeling like snow donuts are necessary!

If you're really talented stumps... I've got the trick for you, no wiring needed.

I'm up in Grande Prairie, so my winter is identical to yours. You want to slide for a block?? I don't recommend doing this anywhere near traffic, people, or curbs... as this could be dangerous if you're not Cole Trickle

1 - turn the key to the start postion, all the way to the right, and hold.

2 - throttle down buddy!

Driving with only the left hand when you have you right hand on the key is harsh, but the abs sensors aren't communicating with the rest of the system when you're holding the key. If you don't have the limited slip diff, you'll get a lot of one tire action, but if you have the lsd, burnouts just got a whole lot easier.

Enjoy, but be safe.
