Default Transmission Shifting Problem

I have a 2001 Ram 2wd standard cab. I've put over 110,000 miles on it and the transmission has shifted like new sense i bought it but it is starting to develop a shifting problem. Usually when you take off easy it will shift around 1300 - 1500 rpm's. Lately when you take off easy it will rev up to about 2,000 - 2,500 rpms. It still shifts smooth but i know this isn't normal. I'm assuming there is a sensor or two that tell the transmission when to shift so maybe one of those is screwing up? Any advice would be great. Thanks.

theres a cable that runs from the throttle body linkage to the transmission its called a kickdown or throttle valve cable , it could be sticking a little causing the late shift

Also look underneath your truck on your tranny were that kickdown cables connects from your tb, theres a spring that attaches to it (cable and tranny) it gets loose and looses tension over the years. Tighten it up or replace it..thats only one option.
