Default Some help on coil spring installation?

Alright so this summer i'm getting some 3" lift coil springs, was going to get spacers but springs are only like 50 bucks more, and new shocks. But anyways in my Haynes manual it says to pretty much dissconect the whole axle from the truck to take out the springs, is the correct, or is there a better way to do It? also with the 3" coils do you think i could fit 35's, i'm pretty sure i could.

thanks.

I'm really not sure how this is done. I haven't torn apart the front of your generation truck. 35's with 3" coils will be tight. I have a 4" lift & 35's and I have just enough room. Of course, the body and suspension architecture is different on my truck.

Good luck!

When I did spacers on the 2500 I had to take off the sway bar and the track bar. I ended up putting a bottle jack between the axle and frame to push it down enough to get the spring and spacer back in.
A spring compressor could help but be really careful
