Test your battery and all your main power connections at the battery, starter, ground and the computer. One other possibility is that your PCM is going bad.

Here is an exert from the 2003 service manual -

Quote:
PRELIMINARY DIAGNOSIS
WARNING: ON VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH AIRBAGS,
DISABLE THE SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT
SYSTEM BEFORE ATTEMPTING ANY STEERING
WHEEL, STEERING COLUMN, DRIVER AIRBAG,
PASSENGER AIRBAG, SEAT BELT TENSIONER,
SIDE CURTAIN AIRBAG, OR INSTRUMENT PANEL
COMPONENT DIAGNOSIS OR SERVICE. DISCONNECT
AND ISOLATE THE BATTERY NEGATIVE
(GROUND) CABLE, THEN WAIT TWO MINUTES FOR
THE SYSTEM CAPACITOR TO DISCHARGE BEFORE
PERFORMING FURTHER DIAGNOSIS OR SERVICE.
THIS IS THE ONLY SURE WAY TO DISABLE THE
SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM. FAILURE TO
TAKE THE PROPER PRECAUTIONS COULD
RESULT IN ACCIDENTAL AIRBAG DEPLOYMENT
AND POSSIBLE PERSONAL INJURY.

(1) Check the fused B(+) fuse (Fuse 28 - 10
ampere) in the Integrated Power Module (IPM). If
OK, go to Step 2. If not OK, repair the shorted circuit
or component as required and replace the faulty fuse.
(2) Check for battery voltage at the fused B(+) fuse
(Fuse 28 - 10 ampere) in the IPM. If OK, go to Step
3. If not OK, repair the open fused B(+) circuit
between the IPM and the battery as required.
(3) Disconnect and isolate the battery negative
cable. Remove the instrument cluster. Reconnect the
battery negative cable. Check for battery voltage at
the fused B(+) circuit cavity of the instrument panel
wire harness connector (Connector C1) for the instrument
cluster. If OK, go to Step 4. If not OK, repair
the open fused B(+) circuit between the instrument
cluster and the IPM as required.
(4) Check for continuity between the signal ground
circuit cavity of the instrument panel wire harness
connector (Connector C1) for the instrument cluster
and a good ground. There should be continuity. If
OK, refer to ACTUATOR TEST. If not OK, repair the
open ground circuit to ground (G202) as required.
Hope this helps.

Default My "NO BUS" experience is Airbag Control Module

Although this looks like an older thread, let me add my recent experience:

Out of the blue, I got the "NO BUS" error, with all instrument clusters not working. Everything else seemed to work fine and the truck still ran fine.

I went thru the service manual procedure, at least as much as I could (sorry, I don't have a DBIII scanner). Took it to the local Dodge dealer and they reprogrammed the PCM, and other modules. During this, they said it **appeared** the AirBag Control Module was at fault, but after re-programming it, thie issue fixed itself.....they ran it/started it several times and no errors. I just picked it up this morning and it all still appears normal. The labor cost was $150 (1.5 hours), but WELL worth it to check something I could not w/o a $9000 scanner (oscilloscope). From what I found, the data bus is piped thru many difference modules and any one could be the culprit. Damned cars/trucks with everything computerized is a service nightmare after a few years - in my case the truck is a 2000 WITH ONLY 54K miles. Good luck to anyone with "NO BUS"......

I would side with the Front control module attached to the fuse box. A lot of the functions you mentioned are controlled by this module. Could need a reprogram or new system.
