Well! I just got mine with the same code as of last week! When i was about to get off from work, i noticed a clicking noise when i started the engine followed by a growling sound when stepping on the gas pedal. First i thought it was something with the air intake box, but the real mistery came when i checked on the oil dipstick and it was clean oil, when uncapped the oil cap it had water moisture (milky haze) on it, but not only that! The truck never overheated or whatsoever on its whole 150k miles lifespan (had it since new) and guess what? there were no coolant on the reservoir nor the radiator, it was empty. There's no white smoke coming out the tailpipe and the engine starts fine whenever i turn the key. When my buddy checked it with his "modis" (Snap-On Code/Diagnostic Scanner) turned out to have the same misfiring code as yours, and he thinks maybe it's a blown head gasket. i am going to start working with this problem this weekend but ever wondered if this happened to someone else. I'll re-post the findings to share with you.
