I'm not disputing you, just trying to understand how you figured that was the optimal shift point.
No problem. First, I only figured out the first gear to second gear change. It could be different for 2nd to 3rd or 3rd to 4th. First gear is a 3:1 ratio and second is a 1.67:1 ratio so whenever it shifts from first, your tach is going to drop 2800 rpm. Unfortunately, my engine is only at peak horsepower for 100 or so rpm, so maintaining peak power is impossible. The next best thing is to stay as close to peak as often as possible. So you basically just split the rpm difference of the two gears (2800 rpm) on either side of the power peak. 1400 above peak would put my engine at 6900 rpm which ain't gonna happen. So, the best bet is to go as high as possible, which since that balancer is limited to 6400, 6200-6300 becomes our best possible shift point. And Chefred can shed more light on that balancer problem. He's the one that posted it I believe.

Nice numbers & flat curves but why did they chart your dyno run in SAE and not STD?

Guess that's what i get for posting before fully awake. SAE is what you want to see and is believed to be a closer representation to real world hp #s. STD #s would be higher. Sorry for my last post. Those are great numbers! How many psi did you peak at? Cant wait to see it with the stroker.

Psi peaked at 9. Stroker goes in today and will get it running. A few months down the road I will be going to 15psi.
